The University of California Botanical Gardens covers 34 acres above the Berkeley campus. Poets Denise Newman and Hazel White are collaborating with the gardeners and garden administrators to create a poetry installation and transmedia project designed to deepen visitors’ interactions with the site and encourage more visitors.
