inkBoat‘s Shinichi Iova-Koga and a host of other artists are collaborating with Dancers’ Group to develop and present a work titled 95 Rituals that is dedicated to legendary choreographer Anna Halprin in celebration of her 95 birthday. The artists will be presenting a series of free site-specific performances at various locations with guest musicians and artists from around the world. The project’s first public event, featuring “Rituals 4-6, Ascent,” is taking place in San Francisco City Hall on Friday, May 1 at noon. Shinichi and Dana Iova-Koga will perform a duet choreographed by Molissa Fenley and Wanjiru Kamuyu.
