Writer Linda Norton is collaborating with staff and visitors to Peralta Hacienda Historical Park to explore how mass incarceration affects the daily lives of people living in Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood where the Peralta Hacienda historic house is based. She will conduct outreach and interviews in collaboration with Peralta Hacienda staff and community, create a community wall map and exhibition, and write a book.
