Celebrating the lives of Afro-Cuban artists in the United States, We Have Ire is a new and timely performance, commissioned by Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and developed through a collaboration among lead artist Paul S. Flores, director Rosalba Rolon, Grammy-nominated Yosvany Terry; DJ Leydis, and choreographer Ramon Ramos Alayo.

Performances run May 10-12 and are enriched with community events on May 11 — a free, mixed level dance class (11 a.m.); a free conversation with Yosvany Terry (2:30 p.m.); and an exploration of digital storytelling from Afro-Cuban traditions (5:30 p.m.).
