Among many projects that couldn’t be realized as intended in March 2020 was an exhibit and related performances of TIDES: San Francisco Bay, the culmination of Ian Winters’ collaboration with Wholly H2O, Brian Baumbusch, Wayne Vitale, and other artists, exploring the Bay Area watershed and threats of rising waters. Winters was able to share visual components of the work at SFArtsEd‘s gallery within the Minnesota Street Project, but the exhibit was cut short and related music performances were cancelled due to San Francisco’s shelter-in-place orders.
We have good news for those who missed it: a newly realized culmination of the project, a 30-minute film, can be viewed here.
