Applying to the Creative Work Fund: Your Questions Answered
November 6, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
FREEAdvance registration required >
The Creative Work Fund supports artists to create new works through collaborations with nonprofit organizations. Artists must co-apply with their intended nonprofit partners. In preparation for its December 6, 2019 letter of inquiry deadline, the Creative Work Fund invites potential applicants to sharpen their understanding of the program by asking any lingering questions they may have. Eligible artists in 2019 may work in any discipline, and their 501(c)(3) nonprofit partners may work in any field of endeavor, but both the lead artists and nonprofits must be based in the 11-county San Francisco Bay Area (extending from Napa to Monterey counties). Creative Work Fund grants range in size from $15,000-$45,000. The Creative Work Fund is a program of the Walter & Elise Haas Fund that also is generously supported by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.
