California Academy of Science’s Traditional Arts Program collaborating with Afro-Peruvian percussionist Lalo Izquierdo and Bolivian musician Oscar Reynolds to create new musical compositions that combine Bolivian Indian and Afro-Andean music, drawing attention and paying homage to the co-existing Indian and African cultures in the two countries.
