East Bay Center for the Performing Arts and Robert Moses, director of Robert Moses’ KIN will collaborate on a performance that explores In Visibility, embodying the internal and external experiences of Richmond youth and artists who are disproportionately affected by systems oppression. Drawing on Robert Moses’ expertise in using movement to express our collective potential, this dynamic collaboration will inspire, challenge, and ultimately celebrate the power of visibility through dance and storytelling/ East Bay Center’s Iron Triangle Urban Ballet resident youth ensemble is central to the project, co-creating choreography and monologues that reflect their stories and experiences, with original music by East Bay Center music faculty, and performances with dancers from Robert Moses’ KIN.
