Through their second Creative Work Fund-supported collaboration, Rhodessa Jones, The Medea Project, Theater for Incarcerated Women, and the Women’s HIV Program UCSF have developed When Did Your Hands Become a Weapon, exploring the widespread prevalence of sexual assault and harassment of women. The project heralds a new model of care that allows women to heal from past abuse and prevent further trauma.
