“Adios Amor: The Search for Maria Moreno” a documentary film by Laurie Coyle, will be screened at San Francisco DocFest at the Roxie Theater on Friday, June 8 at 7:15 p.m. and Saturday, June 9 at 12:30 p.m. The film traces the compelling story of Maria Moreno, a forgotten hero of the farmworkers’ movement. During its development, Coyle collaborated with young women at the Chicana/Latina Foundation on the research. Tickets are available.
