On Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., the Mural Music & Arts Project celebrates the unveiling of a 220-foot mural by Edward (Scape) Martinez in Jack Farrell Park in the City of East Palo Alto. The mural’s creation represents the community’s reclaiming a police-identified Hot Spot for criminal activity. The artist engaged community members in devising the mural’s design and collaborated with East Palo Alto youth in creating this art legacy for their community.
