On Sunday September 7 from noon until 4 p.m., Artist-in-Residence Ehren Tool returns to the Palo Alto Art Center for the culmination of the Containers of Community Project. Tool will distribute the hundreds of handmade cups he created onsite during his residency to veterans and others who contributed to the project. The community day begins with a walk-through with exhibiting artist Dana Harel at noon and between noon and 3 p.m., Tool will distribute the cups to those to contributed materials for them. From 3-4 p.m. Ehren Tool and other veteran artists will speak as part of a panel. On September 6, Combat Paper will be onsite leading free paper-making workshops.
