May 30 through June 1, at the Joe Goode Annex, Foley artist Sudhu Tewari, composer Ben Juodvalkis, and Joe Goode Performance Group are presenting a behind-the-scenes look at Hush, a new work that combines personal stories, dance, visuals, and innovative ambient sound techniques drawn from Foley filmmaking to explore the various ways in which we are “hushed” by society. Hush is co-produced by Z Space and will premiere at Z Space’s main venue September 26-October 5, 2013. In the meantime, tickets are available for the Behind the Scenes event on May 30 and June 1.
