Claudia Stevens collaborating with the University of California at Santa Cruz Arboretum to create traditional botanical painting to illustrate biotic and cultural knowledge that has been lost through the centuries in California. The project highlights how native people of the Santa Cruz region, used these plants for food, fiber, tools and medicine.
