Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center collaborating with Cambodian classical dancer and choreographer Charya Burt, Vishnu Tattva Das Odissi Vilas of Sacred Dance of India, and Melody Takata of Gen Taiko to create Of Spirits Intertwined, exploring the rituals that three different Asian dance traditions use to make offerings to their spiritual ancestors. A series of symposia, dance workshops, and outreach projects are part of the work’s development.
