Artist Mark Brest van Kempen and Arts Benicia collaborating to create and install three public art pieces that explore different aspects of the environmentally sensitive Benicia waterfront area. van Kempen?s works will be installed for six months each near the waterfront and used to trigger a set of public events?discussions, design charettes, seminars, and performances?meant to inform the master plan being developed for the waterfront.
