Fiction writer Summer Brenner‘s collaboration with the West Contra Costa Unified School District led to publication of Richmond Tales: Lost Secrets of the Iron Triangle, a warmly-received novel written for and with young adult readers and set in the heart of Richmond, California. In an exciting new development, Richmond Tales has been adapted for performance and is  premiering May 17-26 at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond. Tickets are $10, with $5 student and senior discounts are available. The project is produced by the East Bay Center’s resident Iron Triangle Theater and its artistic director Jordan Simmons; co-produced by the Rotary Club of Richmond (CA), Inc.; and directed by Britney Frasier with Ellen Sebastian Chang serving as dramaturg.
