On April 3-5, Cultural Odyssey is presenting a 35th Anniversary showcase of new works, in association with the African American Art and Culture Complex. The program, featuring Cultural Odyssey co-founders Idris Ackamoor and Rhodessa Jones along with other artists, runs from 6 to 11 p.m., with an excerpt from Birthright, Rhodessa Jones‘s collaboration with Planned Parenthood Shasta Pacific to be presented at 7 pm. Birthright will feature performers from The Medea Project for Incarcerated Woman–a long-running project of Cultural Odyssey. Performances are at the Buriel Clay Theater in San Francisco and tickets are available.
