Photographer Robert Dawson‘s The Public Library: A Photographic Survey of America’s Libraries is featured in a cluster of Bay Area events in the coming two weeks, including:
- Thursday, June 5 at 7:00 pm: Robert Dawson in conversation with San Francisco Chronicle architecture critic John King at The Hattery (Tickets $10-$15)
- Wednesday, June 11 at 6 pm: Robert Dawson in conversation with City Librarian Luis Herrera at the San Francisco Public Library (Free)
- Thursday, June 12 at 6 pm: Robert Dawson in conversation with Dorothy Lazard, Oakland Public Library Librarian at the Oakland Main Library
Dawson’s Creative Work Fund project continues his exploration of libraries and literacy programs through a year-long partnership with the Library and Literacy Foundation for San Joaquin County.
