On Saturday, July 25, at 7:00 p.m. in Berkeley, Creative Work Fund traditional arts grant recipient Gautam Tejas Ganeshan is performing works from his project with Akshay Venkatesan at the Subterranean Arthouse. Ganeshan has been creating an ongoing body of original works based in his love and understanding of Carnatic music–its elaborate structures, extensive improvisations, and the utmost sincerity that distinguishes its greatest practitioners.
