As part of their in-depth exploration of poetics and healing, on Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20, writer Eleni Stecopoulos and The Poetry Center, San Francisco State University, are presenting “VITAL FORMS: Healing and the Arts of Crisis” at the Subterranean Arthouse in Berkeley. The two-day symposium features Eleni Stecopoulos and special guests Melissa Buzzeo, Thom Donovan, Margit Galanter, Bhanu Kapil, Beth Murray, Pavlos Stavropoulos, and david wolach. On the 19th, talks and performances run from  7-9:30 p.m. Saturday features workshops that integrate writing with movement/somatic work from 2-4:30 p.m. and talks and performances from 7-9:30. Tickets  ($15-$25) may be purchased for all events or for individual sessions ($5-$10). Stecopoulos asks, “What forms do we create in crisis from crisis?
