Parades and Changes, Anna Halprin’s final staging of the piece that formed the foundation for her subsequent career, reunites the choreographer with her original composer, electronic music pioneer Morton Subotnick, longtime collaborator and lighting designer Jim Cave, and choreographer and associate director Shinichi Iova-Koga.
Parades and Changes will be performed February 15, 16, and 17 at 7:30 p.m. The performance is part of Anna Halprin / MATRIX 246, which also presents scores and ephemera related to the history of Parades and Changes in Gallery 1. Tickets and information here.
