On Sunday, June 21, at 5 p.m., at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Forum, Dancers’ Group will present “Ritual 50-70: conjunction” of the 95 Rituals project. This evolving performance work is directed by Shinichi Iova-Koga of inkBoat and features many dancers and musicians. On June 21, Kronos Quartet will perform.
95 Rituals–part of Dancers’ Group’s ONSITE series–honors the work of legendary choreographer Anna Halprin, in celebration of her 95th birthday, with a series of free site-specific performances at various locations with guest musicians and artists from the Bay Area and around the world.
On Tuesday through Saturday, July 7-11, there will be continuous performances of the Rituals from 5-8 p.m. at the Hyde Street Pier–a National Park Service site in San Francisco.
