About CWF

The Creative Work Fund will award approximately $620,000 in grants to create new work by collaborating nonprofit organizations and visual or traditional artists. Grants will range from $15,000 to $45,000.
The deadline for letters of inquiry is March 1, 2019.

KEY DATES

NOW THROUGH FEB 2019
CREATE A GRANTSEEKER ACCOUNT
Both artists and organizations complete an eligibility quiz and request a grantseeker account so they can develop online letters of inquiry together.
ATTEND AN APPLICANT SEMINAR

Optional application seminars and webinars are held for potential Creative Work Fund applicants. Applicants are not required to attend, but are encouraged to do so—especially if they are unfamiliar with the Fund.

MAY 3, 2019
invitations TO FULL PROPOSAL
From among the letters of inquiry received in each category,  approximately 25 collaborating artists and organizations will be invited to submit more detailed proposals.
JUL 16, 2019 | 5pm
deadline for full proposals
Full proposals include documentation illustrating the quality of the artists’ work, detailed budgets, and additional background information about the organizations.
OCT 4, 2019
GRANT AWARDS ANNOUNCED
Grants will be awarded to the collaborating 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, not directly to collaborating artists.

A PARTY!
