On Monday, December 5, five-time Creative Work Fund grantee Rhodessa Jones and her long-time artistic partner Idris Ackamoor received Theater Bay Area‘s prestigious “Legacy Award” for their commitment to social justice and numerous contributions to the region’s theater scene. Theater Bay Area awards, now in their third year, are selected by a peer adjudicated process. The program honors “excellence in professionally oriented theater.”
